This Privacy Policy explains how Bloom Business Consulting Inc., doing business as iON Clinical Advisory & Intelligence Group ("iON", "we", "us"), handles personal information collected through ion-clinical.com. We are based in Toronto, Ontario, and handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy requirements.
Data boundaries: no patient health records
iON Clinical Advisory provides operational architecture and software integration services. iON does not directly host, store, or retain Personal Health Information (PHI). All patient data operations execute within the client facility's enterprise-compliant software architecture (e.g., monday.com HIPAA environments). iON does not provide health care. This website is for business enquiries only. Please do not send patient names, records, images or clinical details through this site, by email or through any booking form. If you send such information by mistake, tell us at s.akhtar@ion-clinical.com and we will delete it.
What we collect
- Information you provide: your name, work email, organisation, role and the content of your messages when you email us or book a call.
- Booking details: information you enter when scheduling through Cal.com, such as name, email and time zone.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and pages requested, which our hosting and security provider may log for reliability and security.
- Business contact information: professional details such as name, business title, business email and company, which may come from a business directory or contact-intelligence service (see Apollo.io below).
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and schedule, deliver and manage consultations and engagements.
- To identify and contact organisations that may benefit from our services, in line with Canadian anti-spam law.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
We collect only what is reasonably needed for these purposes. We rely on your consent, which you give when you contact us, book a call or make a choice in our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits.
Third-party services and integrations
We use the following providers to run our business. They process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices, and may store it outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
- HubSpot: CRM, executive enquiry management and lead communications.
- Apollo.io: business contact intelligence and operational outreach.
- monday.com: enterprise healthcare operational workflows and practice front-desk automation.
- Cal.com: executive consultation and discovery call scheduling.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security and delivery of site data feeds.
- Google Fonts and rsms.me: web fonts.
- YouTube (privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com) and LinkedIn feed widgets: embedded content that loads only when you play a video or, for the LinkedIn feed, when you allow embedded content.
Links to external websites, including market quote pages, are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use the following categories. You can change your choice at any time using or the link in the footer.
- Essential: needed for security, delivery of the site and remembering your cookie choice. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the name
ion-cookie-consent. The Live Market Intelligence Terminal also keeps its most recent news snapshot in local storage (ion-feed-snapshot) so it can show your last update if a feed is slow. Essential storage cannot be turned off. - Embedded content: third-party widgets, such as the LinkedIn feed, that may set their own cookies. These load only if you allow them.
- Analytics: not currently used on this site. If we add analytics, they will load only if you have turned this category on.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some embedded features may not work if you do.
Email and marketing (CASL)
We send commercial electronic messages only where we have your consent, express or implied as permitted by law. Every message identifies iON as the sender and includes a working unsubscribe mechanism.
Sharing, retention and safeguards
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, when you ask us to, or where the law requires. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
Your rights
You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent, ask us to delete your information, or ask how we handle it. Contact us at s.akhtar@ion-clinical.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
